Packing Systems

The bottleneck of production can be manual packaging. Orfer's packing robots remove this problem. Easy to use PC visualization together with flexible control and industrial robots enable efficient production at high speeds. The packing robots process products fast and reliably 24 hours a day if needed thus freeing people to more meaningful and more productive tasks.

Products can be packed individually or in groups. During individual packaging, the location and position of the product on the conveyor is identified with machine vision. After detection, fast robot picks the product and places it into the packing box in correct orientation. More information of high speed packing of individual products, please see BoxCell.

In group packaging, suitable groups of products are formed on conveyor. The robot then picks up the group and places it into the packing box on one or several layers. Same robot can handle slip sheets and empty crates if necessary.
