With machine vision, you can constantly control the robots and do not therefore any longer need various guidance systems, groupings and rails, which hinder the product flow. With machine vision guidance you can also switch products faster, even automatically, since the equipment does not usually require mechanical adjustments.

Besides controlling the robots, machine vision can be used for various visual quality control jobs during packing stages, for example. A camera checks each package according to set criteria. Things to check can include e.g. date markings, right labels on right products or even the package's degree of fullness. Based on the check results, products can be sorted or rejected.
